Vitality have booked their place at DreamHack Open Atlanta after beating Vyalie Pitoni 2-0 in the grand final of the Europe Closed Qualifier.
The French team got to the grand final by beating Sprout and PANTHERS 2-0 while Vyalie Pitoni upset Vega Squadron and Valiance as they defeated both teams 2-1.
The grand final kicked off on Inferno and the CT-sided Vitality pulled no punches, finishing the first half 12-3 ahead. Cédric "RpK" Guipouy & company lost only one round in the second half and closed out the map with a 16-4 victory.
NBK's team started Dust2 on the side and led 12-3 at halftime, just like they did on Inferno. The Frenchmen won the map 16-11 and took the series 2-0.
With this result, Vitality became the first team confirmed for DreamHack Open Atlanta which will take place on November 16-18 with eight teams and a $100,000 prize pool.
